Specialized fire-retardant (FR) textiles used in commercial dining spaces to resist ignition, slow the spread of flames, and meet strict local or international building and safety codes.Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR): The fire-resistant properties are built directly into the molecular structure of the synthetic fibers (such as specialized polyester or modacrylic). These do not wash out or degrade over time.Chemically Treated FR: Non-resistant base fabrics (like cotton or blends) that undergo a chemical treatment process to bond fire-retardant properties into the material.
